As a dance educator, LMA is a constant source of inspiration. It provides me with additional approaches and methodologies for dance/movement training and its underlying philosophy resonates with my own beliefs about educating the whole person and acknowledging the creative and expressive potential within each individual.

She has been involved in the professional dance community in Canada for thirty-four years as a dancer, choreographer and teacher. Formerly from Montreal, she performed and toured nationally and internationally with Le Groupe de la Place Royale, Fortier Danse Creation and Fondation Jean-Pierre Perrault, and throughout the ‘80s was active in the Montreal dance scene as a dancer and choreographer. Since relocating to Vancouver in 1989, she has been on the dance faculty of the School for the Contemporary Arts at Simon Fraser University and is a practicing choreographer. Her choreography has been presented locally, nationally and internationally.
